Through the implementation of the Parents as Teachers curriculum, we offer comprehensive home and community visits. Our dedicated team of Parent Educators equipped with extensive training, crafts personalized lesson plans individualized to each child’s needs. We also connect families with community resources and provide unwavering support as they navigate the critical journey from birth to school. Our goal is to facilitate the seamless integration of families with children aged prenatal to 5 years into a network of resources essential for their holistic development and future success.

There are four dynamic components to our Parents as Teachers model:

Thanks to the generous support of our community, all services are provided free of charge for participating families.

Program Goals

In partnership with families, we form a comprehensive set of services with seven goals/outcomes:

  • Increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and improve positive parenting practices
  • Provide early detection of developmental delays and connection to services
  • Improve parent, child and family health and well-being
  • Prevent child abuse and neglect
  • Increase children’s school readiness and success
  • Improve family economic well-being
  • Strengthen community capacity and connectedness
